IBPS PO Exam Pattern:
There are two parts. 1st part is preliminary exam and if we qualify this we are eligible for 2nd part Manis Examination. This mains Examination is followed by Interview for short listed candidates.
IBPS PO Prelims Exam pattern:
It is conducted in online mode with total duration of 1 hour. It consits of 3 sections for maximum marks of 100.There is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. To qualify for Mains examination cutoff should be cleard in all three sections .

IBPS PO Mains Exam pattern:
It is also conduted only. It has 5(4 + 1) sections with time duration of 180+30 minutes and total number of marks are 200+25 .There is specific time limit for each of these sections and these sections should be attempted in the same order . A candidate should clear both prelims and mains to be eligible for interview.There is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

IBPS PO Interview:
The candidates who qualified mains exam will be called for interview. It happens for maximum of 100 marks.Cutoff for this is 40 (35 for sc,st,obc,pwd) .
The final result is prepared based on the mains and interview marks .They are given in the for 80:20.
The prelims marks are not considered in final merit list.

Quntitative Aptitude : Simplification , Profit and loss , Mixtures and Alligations , Simple Interest and Compound Interest and Surds and Indices , Work and Time , Time and Distance , Mensuration , Dara Interpretation , Ratio and Proportion , Percentage ,Number systems ,Sequence and Series , Permutation and Probability .
3.English Language : Reading Comprehension , Cloze test , Para jumbles ,Multiple Mening / Error spotting , Fill in the blanks , Miscellaneous , Paragraph Completion.
IBPS PO Mains Syllabus:
1.Reasoning:Verbal reasoning , Syllogism , Circular Seating Arrangement , Linear Seating Arrangement , Double Lineup , Scheduling , Input Output , Blood Realations , Directions and Distances , Ordering and Ranking , Data Sufficiency , Directions and Distances , Ordering and Ranking , Data Sufficiency , Coding and Decoding , Code Inequalities .
2.Quantitative Aptitude:Data Interpretation , Linear Equation , Probability , remaing all are from prelims syllabus.
3.Computer Aptitude:Internet,Memory , Keyboard Shortcuts , Computer Abbreviation , Microsoft office , Computer hardware , Computer software , Operating System , Networking , Computer Fundamentals .
4.General Awareness:Financial awareness , current affairs ,General Knowledge.
5.English Language:Reading comprehension,Vocabulary,Grammar,Verbal Ability
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria:
Graduation Degree:
A graduation degree (BA Bcom Bsc B.Tech ..) in any discipline from a university recognized by the government of India.The person must give his percentage of marks in graduation while registering for the exam.So he must be a graduate at the time of applying and he should have certificates at the time of interview.
He /She should have some computer knowledge.
He/She must be a citizen of India (or) Subject of Nepal or Butan and see official notification for more details regarding other categories who does not belong to any of the above two .
Age Eligibility:
He/She must not be less than 20 years and not more than 30 years.In addition to this there is age relaxation.
SC/ST : 5Years
OBC (Non creamy layer) : 3 years
PWD (Person with dissability) : 10 years
Ex-Servicemen : 5 Years
Widows/Diverced Women : 9 years
IBPS PO Application Fee:
Fee once paid will not be refunded for any reason.
SC/ST/PWD : Rs.100/- (Intimation charges only)
General and Others : Rs.600/- (App Fee including intimation charges)
